动物营养研究所简介

动物营养研究所前身是四川大学农学院畜牧兽医系家畜饲养教研室,1962年建立四川农学院畜牧兽医系饲养营养研究室,1986年成立动物营养研究所,为正处级建制。本学科点1963年开始招收硕士研究生,1984年开始招收博士研究生,1989年被评为国家重点学科。1999年批准为教育部长江学者计划特聘教授设岗单位,动物营养与饲料工程实验室批准为四川省高校重点开放实验室。2000年所在一级学科批准为博士学位授权点,设立博士后流动站。2001年再次批准为国家重点学科。2006年“猪抗病营养的分子机制”研究团队入选教育部创新团队。2007年第三次被批准为国家重点学科,并立项建设“动物抗病营养生物技术教育部工程中心”和“动物抗病营养教育部重点实验室”,同年被批准为“四川省饲料工程中心”和“动物类国家级实验教学示范中心”。2009年“猪抗病营养的分子机制” 教育部创新团队顺利通过验收。2010年动物抗病营养实验室批准为四川省重点实验室,鱼类营养与安全生产实验室批准为四川省高校重点实验室。2011年学校批准动物营养研究所迁入成都校区,形成以成都校区为主体,延伸管理雅安校区教学科研的格局。

研究所现有专职教学科研人员48人,其中教授12人,副教授11人,博士研究生导师12人,硕士研究生导师23人,其中国家级教学名师1人,国家“百千万”人才工程一二层次人选2人,教育部新世纪优秀人才支持计划1人,四川省百人计划1人,享受政府特殊津贴专家8人,四川省有突出贡献专家2人, 四川省学术技术带头人6人,后备人选3人。2007年,本教学科研团队被评为四川省优秀教学团队,首批国家级优秀教学团队,2009年动物营养教学科研团队被评为新中国60年畜牧兽医科技创新优秀团队。

研究所承担了动物营养与饲料科学方面的从本科至博士后的人才培养任务。在人才培养中,始终坚持质量第一。主编的《动物营养学》教材第一版、第二版及《饲料添加剂学》、《动物营养学与饲料学》被评为全国优秀教材;《动物营养学》和《饲料学》课程被评为国家级精品课程;获国家教学成果二等奖2项,四川省教学成果二等奖1项。研究生招生规模不断扩大,每年招收硕、博士研究生70名左右,迄今为止已招收培养研究生近700人;研究生培养质量不断提高,获“全国优秀博士学位论文”提名论文2篇,获省级优秀博士论文3篇,优秀硕士论文4篇。

研究所主要从事猪、禽、反刍动物和水生动物的营养物质代谢、营养需要、营养调控、饲料营养价值评定、饲料加工配制技术以及交叉领域如营养与免疫、分子营养、营养与微生态学、抗病营养等的研究。先后承担完成了国家973、国家自然科学基金等部省级科研项目近三百项,获得国家科技进步二等奖3项,四川省科技进步一等奖3项、二等奖3项,以及其它省部级奖励共计二十余项。已出版教材及专著40余部,每年发表论文130余篇,其中SCI论文30余篇,重要核心期刊论文40余篇。

研究所拥有与国际同类学科相当的实验室和教学科研条件。雅安校区试验基地面积34000多平方米,房屋建筑面积12000余平方米,有从意大利引进的成套现代化猪舍、从法国引进的动物营养代谢自动采食及称重系统,有人工气候调控饲养实验室、水生动物代谢实验室和自动水循环系统。成都和雅安校区动物营养实验室面积为4000平方米,拥有价值4000多万元的各种现代化仪器设备,能够满足人才培养和科学研究的需要。

动物营养研究所学术交流气氛活跃,每年举办一次全国或国际性的学术会议。积极探索建立产学研新模式,加强与国内外企业的广泛合作。目前已与国内10余个大中型企业联合建立了博士工作站、中国磷营养研究中心、中国微量元素营养研究中心、中国酶制剂营养研究中心,促进了学科发展,提高了科研水平和人才培养质量。

Brief Introduction of Animal Nutrition Institute

Animal Nutrition Institute (IAN), found in 1986, was transformed from the Teaching Group of Animal Feeding dating from 1962 in Department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine, Sichuan Agriculture College. The Iinstitute launches Graduate program for master and doctoral degree in 1964 and 1986 respectively. Animal Nutrition in the Institute was approved as the national key discipline in 1989,2001,and 2007 respectively. The institute was authorized to excute Changjiang Scholarship Program by the Chinese Department of Education in 1999, The laboratary of Animal Nutrition and Feed Engineering in the Institute was given the title of Sichuan Provincial Key Laboratory in 1999. The primary level of the discipline in Animal Science was authorized to award Ph. D. degree in 2000, and Postdoctoral Research Station was established in the Institute in the same year.The research team of Molecular Mechanism of Anti-disease Nutrition in Pigs was selected to be the National Innovative Research Team by the Chinese Department of Education in 2006 and passed the acceptance inspection in 2009. The Engineering Center of Animal Anti-disease Nutrition and Biotechnology of Chinese Department of Education, Key Lab of Animal Anti-disease Nutrition of Chinese Department of Education, Animal Nutrition and Feed Engineering Center of Sichuan Province, and National Experimental, Teaching and Demonstration Center of Animal Sciences were all granted and established in 2007. The Lab of Animal Anti-disease Nutrition was approved to be the key Lab of Sichuan Province in 2010. The Laboratary of Fishery Nutrition and Safty Production was approved as the Key Lab of University in Sichuan Province. In 2011, the Institute was approved to relocate in Chengdu Canpus and made Chengdu Campus the center for teaching and research, with Ya’an Campus move into supporting role.

There are 48 full-time staffs in the Institute, including 12 professors, 11 associate professors, 12 doctoral supervisors and 23 master supervisors. 1 national distinguished teaching master, 2 candidates of the 1st and 2nd level of Thousands eminents in China. 1 Top Select of New Century Outstanding Personnel Program of Ministry of Education. 1 top select of Handred Eminent Expert Program in China, 8 Qualified experts to receive special bonus from the State Council, central government. 2 experts were elected to be of Special Contribution in Sichuan Province, 6 Academic & Technical Leader of Sichuan Province, 3 candidates of Academic & Technical Leader of Sichuan Province. The teaching and research team of the institute was appraised to be the Excellent Teaching Team of Sichuan Province in 2007, the Excellent Teaching Team of China in 2007, the Excellent Teaching Team in Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Science in China within the past 60 years in 2009.

The Institute undertake teaching tasks for undergraduate and graduate programs in the field of animal nutrition and feed science. Staff in the Institute insist on the philosophy of Quality First in teaching. The textbooks edited in the Institute, Animal Nutrition (first and second edition), Feed Additives, Animal Nutrition and Feed Science, were appraised as the national excellent textbooks. Animal Nutrition and Feed Science were appraised as national classic courses. Two 2nd level prizes of national teaching achievement, and one 2nd level prize on Teaching Achievements of Sichuan Province, were awarded to the Institute. The recruitment of doctoral and master students keep on increasing, with totally 70 recruit per year and accumulatively 700 finisher. 2 doctoral thesis were nominated as the national excellent doctoral thesis. 3 doctoral thesis were appraised as the provincial excellent doctoral thesis. 4 master’s thesis were appraised as the excellent thesis.

Scientific research areas in the institute involve nutrient metabolism and regulations, nutrient requirements, nutrient bioavailability evaluation, feed formulation and processing, nutrition and immunity, nutrition and health, molecular nutrition, micro-ecological nutrition, nutrition and animal product quality, and bio-feed products, for various of animals including swine, chicken, ducks, rare birds, ruminants, aquatic animals and specific economic animals. More than 300 research projects had been accomplished, including the projects from National 973 Program, and National Natural Science Foundation. 3 national second level prizes, 3 provincial first level prizes, 3 provincial second level prizes were awarded during the past 5 years. Over 130 papers are published in cited journals each year. 3-5 research achievements reached international levels each year as evaluated by national top scientists. Over 20 achievements have been awarded by governments.

The laboratory and the teaching and research equipments in our institute are well equipped to the level of international peer-disciplines. Experimental base covers more than 3,4000 square meters and has buildings of over 10,000 square meters. The base is equipped with modern pig confinement system imported from Italy, automatic feeding and weighing system from France, metabolism rooms for all species of animals, environmental control chambers, aquatic laboratory, and automatic water recycling system for aquatic animals, all kinds of feed processing machinery. The laboratory of animal nutrition has area of 4,000 square meters and equipped with various instruments and equipments with value of more than 4,000 million yuan, which can meet all the requirements for graduate program and scientific research..

We have been exploring “production-study-research” pattern and cooperating with industries home and abroad. Over 10 doctoral working stations have been established with large and middle size enterprises. The doctoral working stations provide technical services for industries according to marketing mechanism. In return, the industries provide certain amounts of research and development funds for our institute. The doctoral working stations not only obtain abundant research achievements, but also improves the economic profits of companies, accelerates the discipline development, raises the scientific research level and the quality of graduate program..
