艺术与设计学院/创意学院是常州工学院一个蓬勃向上、充满活力的二级学院。下设艺术设计系、动画系、工业设计系、美术系、中心实验室、办公室、学生工作办公室、艺术与设计展览中心,建有常州市数字艺术重点实验室和江苏省实验教学示范中心--数字艺术综合训练中心。本院担纲中韩游戏人才培训基地、江苏省国际服务外包人才培训基地、常州意工厂创意产业研发中心、常州工学院动漫研发中心的主要研发任务。“意工厂”是本院重要的产学研实践平台。

艺术与设计学院现有经教育部批准的艺术设计、动画、工业设计、艺术教育4个专业,设平面艺术设计、环境艺术设计、公共艺术设计、影视动画、网络游戏、机电产品设计、轻工产品设计、美术等专业方向,在校学生1100多人。

学院坚持在“人才培养、科学研究、社会服务”交融渗透层面上的特色发展,坚持工程背景下的艺术学科建设和特色专业建设,初步形成了富有特色的产学研人才培养模式。近年来,本院师生在国内外各类比赛中屡获殊荣,赢得了良好的社会声誉,毕业生就业率100%。

Changzhou Institute of Technology (CIT) was founded in 1978. CIT has been compatible for scientific development in the 30 years. The School of Art and Design and the School of Creative, as vigorous and dynamic schools, contains the Department of Animation, the Department of Art Design, the Department of Industrial Design, the Department of Fine Arts, the Department of Music and the Central Laboratory. Our school is responsible for main R&D task of Talents Training Base of Chinese and Korean Game, Jiangsu International Service Outsourcing Talents Training Base, Changzhou Training Center of Creative Talents and CIT R&D Center of Animation.

The Department of Animation, the Department of Art Design, the Department of Industrial Design and the Department of Art Education in the School of Art and Design have been authorized by Ministry of Education. The main development direction of major is graphic arts design, environment arts design, public arts design, movie animation, online games, electrical products design, light industrial products design, arts and so on. Totally, there are 1100 students.

The school insists on art scientific construction and featured major construction in the background of project. More than 10 studios of teachers and students have been settled in Changzhou Creative Industries Park. The achievement of creative brand construction that is cooperated by government, enterprise and college and integrated by industry, academics and research is really outstanding. The brand construction is guided by “Idea Factory”. It has got favorable comments by professionals and officers. Characteristic talent training mode has been fostered with integration of industry, academics and research. Employment rate of the graduates is 100%.
